If you have forgotten the combo, you may call Bob Komjathy at (810) 227-5767.  There is a separate combination and a separate log sheet (colored paper)  for 87 octane auto fuel.  In addition, it is a requirement that members also keep their own personal log in their aircraft of the dates and quantity dispensed from the fuel farm as a back-up system. Thank you, Bob

1. How to join the fuel club: To aircraft owners based at Brighton Airport,a non-refundable fee of $280 is charged and a valid credit card (Master Card, Visa, or Discover) will be kept on file for purchases made. The initial fee is to cover the cost of initial equipment and to defray costs of improvements and equipment maint.

2. Who to Contact: Please call (810) 227-5767/ (313) 278-8620 and ask for Bob Komjathy or (810) 227-5254 and ask for Kurt Layland for further information.

3. How do I get fuel once I have signed up: You will be given a combination to the lock at the fuel pump. There is a sign up sheet where you enter your name, tail number , date, pump initial reading , pump ending reading, and total gallons used. Please make sure the pump is turned off and locked when you are done.

4. What do I do if the tank is empty: Please call (810) 227-5767 (home) or (313) 278-8620 (work). Ask for Bob Komjathy and please give me the pump ending reading so I can determine if the fuel tank is empty or another type problem such as loss of prime or pump failure.

5. Please enter the fueling area from the north side. This is done so that the restarting of the engine does not blow dust under the doors of the first row of hangars.

6. Shortly I will list active members and tail numbers on this website. They are the only ones who are authorized to obtain fuel from our system.

7. Fuel prices remain constant until a new load of fuel arrives. The price per gallon is based on the cost of that load, fixed costs of operation and applied until that load has been exhausted.
